Christie Atzinger

Director of Client Experience

Christie Atzinger, Director of Client Experience, comes to ConfirmaMD with 15+ years of experience in the healthcare field. She most recently worked with Dean Dorton Healthcare Solutions, where she worked as an associate director of medical billing and consulting services. While at Dean Dorton, she supported clients and team members through various roles, including client relations, physician coding, medical billing, and contracting and credentialing.

While Christie is the latest member of ConfirmaMD, she is no stranger to the team. She worked alongside Engagement Executive and Partner January Taylor for roughly ten years. She began as a billing specialist under January’s wing. January taught her the consulting side of the business, how important it is to stay on top of ever-changing healthcare coding and billing guidelines and regulations, how to help a practice establish and implement processes and procedures, and the importance of provider education.

Christie is a certified coder and has historically worked closely with surgical clients, such as orthopedics, spine and neuro, and cardiology and vascular. She has experience in pediatrics and internal medicine, infectious disease, GYN, and other non-surgical specialties. She is skilled in several software and EHR platforms, like Nextgen, Kareo, Centricity, Athena, Allscripts, Medstreaming, and PBSI.

Christie is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders.
