With 16 years of healthcare experience in front-to-back-end revenue cycle, Jessica is passionate about finding solutions to problems relating to patients and insurance payers to improve patient care and company revenue. She and her team break down communication barriers between payers and physicians, audit charts and documentation, and manage audits. She also assists with removing physicians from prepayment reviews and Targeted Probes— All while remaining current on new payer policies and providing education and communication to providers and their staff. She loves ensuring the company she manages is well-educated in current payment policies and prepared if an audit should occur. Sandy King
Director of Contracting & Credentialing
Sandy joined the ConfirmaMD team in December 2020 with almost 30 years of relevant healthcare experience, including over 17 years in Managed Care Contracting and Credentialing. In her role as Director of Contracting and Credentialing, some of Sandy’s responsibilities include managing and negotiating MCO and commercial payer contracts, establishing and enforcing revenue cycle management policies, analyzing operations and market data to assess areas in need of improvement, and capitalizing on changing conditions, conducting financial reimbursement analysis for strategic planning, reimbursement for all services lines areas and overseeing all provider credentialing. Esterly Birch
Prior Authorization Supervisor
Esterly and her team communicate with ConfirmaMD clients about prior authorization processes. She brings over a decade of experience — She has worked in prior authorization and supervisory roles in family medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, gastro, and pain management for the past 11 years. She began her career as a Certified Medical Assistant and Limited Medical Radiologist, for which she still holds certifications. Her role is vital to patient care as she and her team fight for insurance approval for necessary procedures. Minnie Cambron
Denial Management Manager
Minnie and her department fight denials and submit appeals, and their goal is to have all claims paid and reimbursed correctly. In addition, they ensure ConfirmaMD’s clients know if codes are not being paid. The team is constantly researching, ensuring they are up to date on billing and policy changes. Minnie’s leadership is informed by over 20 years of experience in several fields, including subrogation, billing, and more. She previously worked with ConfirmaMD’s Engagement Executive, January Taylor, at Dean Dorton. For Minnie, teaching and training is the best part of her job. Billing/Coding Supervisor
Joy and her team work with every ConfirmaMD client account daily to review, bill, or code out their charges. She also provides clients with constant feedback on billing, insurance, or documentation issues. She has amassed over a decade of experience in medical coding.
