Background and Experience

ConfirmaMD was founded in 2020 by Drs. Jason Lewis and Kyle Young, Majority and Managing Partners of Commonwealth Pain Associates, PLLC, and Jeff Ellison, Commonwealth Pain & Spine’s Chief Operations Officer.

Since its inception in 2013, Lewis, Young and Ellison have grown Commonwealth Pain Associates to a $36,000,000 pain practice with more than 250 employees, 38,000 active patients, ten MDs and 34 Advanced Practice Providers serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana.        

In 2018, Commonwealth Pain made significant investments in the infrastructure, support staff and technology to operate its multi-million-dollar practice. These investments included a new electronic health record system, internal revenue cycle management, centralization of scheduling, pre-certification/authorization and call operations, internal marketing, human resources and finance/accounting departments.

Our extensive experience leading up to and implementing these innovations established the foundation for the development of ConfirmaMD Physician Services.
